Hi there! I’m Sara, the creative force behind Iris Rose.

As a child, I loved to create - it was my favorite thing. Through years of navigating life’s challenges, I drifted away from my creative roots. In 2020, I picked up a camera and photography brought me back to that creative space, allowing me to capture something both beautiful and meaningful and I fell in love. When I’m being creative, I feel like my best self.

And I love, love! I love celebrating love. Weddings have always been my favorite event to attend and today, I get to help bring these special events to life! Helping people celebrate who they are and what means the most to them, means everything to me - that’s why I love what I do. I believe in feeling (and feeling big), authentic moments, raw emotion, genuine connection, laughter, tears, depth, community, camaraderie, service, ceremony…this guides my work. I believe in experiencing all that life has to offer and helping others do the same.

When I’m not at a shoot or hangin’ with some newlyweds, you can find me in the mountains hiking a trail or kicked back at home with my wonderful husband and two lively little girls.
