Hi, I’m Sara.

Photographer, planner and the person behind Iris Rose.

I really love weddings. Not just the pretty parts, but the people, the energy and the fact that no two of them ever seem to go exactly the same way.

I take what I do seriously, but I’m not particularly serious while I’m doing it. I come with a personality, I like to laugh and I’ll probably make you laugh too. I genuinely have a lot of fun doing what I do.

At the end of the day, I want you to have beautiful photos, a wedding that runs well and a really good time getting there.

I hired her expecting I would need to still do a lot of the reaching out and touching base (I was a DIY bride for majority of our wedding planning) but she made sure to reach out and touch base with us often! Our pictures were just beautiful and she captured every precious moment and made sure we had beautiful, lasting memories we could always reflect on. I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer! If you are on the fence and don’t know who to hire- GO WITH HER! We included a portrait booth that our guests loved and were raving about afterwards. “Sara with Iris Rose photography did a truly incredible job photographing our elopement, we couldn’t be happier. She took absolutely beautiful photos, delivered them according to schedule, was one of our witnesses, and gave great guidance to help us feel comfortable during photos.

Not only that, but our elopement was up on our favorite hiking trail at sunset, so she did all that PLUS hiked up with all her gear, and hiked back down after the sun set. She went above and beyond- literally. Major props as well to her husband, Ryan, who helped, too!
